A Big Thanks

Hey everyone! I just wanna say a big thank you to everyone who’s liked and followed my writing in the first month on my blog.

I have a lot of fun writing this kind of stuff. I’ve written in other forms as well – comic books, animation, short and feature length films, things like this. Some of these with a view of making myself at some point. But I can get frustrated as I often feel inhibited due to the sheer amount of time it can take me to draw and animate. Plus I have an active imagination which in the past I’ve had to put on hold on certain projects while I get around to visualise things in whatever type of media I’m working in.

Writing in this form, I feel I can let my imagination run free and conjure up these oftentimes daft scenarios without worrying how I’m gonna shoot/draw/animate things.

I started this blog to kick myself up the arse to use my creativity a lot more, and I feel that this is the purest art form for me to do that. It really means a lot to me to know that there are people out there who can appreciate my writing. I mentioned (I think) somewhere that I intend to write one story every day this year, and that’s my intention. Once again, thanks for liking, commenting, following. You are a nice bunch, and keep doing what you do best!

Hi, I'm from Stockport, Greater Manchester England. My plan on my blog is to hone my creative writing and write a post every day this year. It sounds daunting, and I'm sure things will evolve over time. Let me know what you think about my writing - any tips, useful websites and things like that would be quite lovely. Thanks for reading!
